M. trifida Large satiny flowers gleam in the sun! Vulcan has many dark rose blooms on tall bushy plants and is easy to grow. Our staff remarked on the unique petal formation that makes a star-shaped green centre. Cut the flowers for informal bouquets; this encourages re-blooming. Great plant for the cottage garden.
